Give each person a tie (piece of flagging tape/material/ribbon) about 30cm long. They tuck half of it into the waist or belt of their skirt/shorts. Divide into 2 teams. Each team goes to opposite ends of the room. The aim is for them to run to the other end of the room with their ties intact. But on the way they all have to try and grab someone else’s tie (and hope you don’t lose yours in the process!)Start them running when you call “Freedom”. Then those who have lost their tie sit out. Repeat 2 or 3 times. Then tell them they can’t reach the other end of the room until they have grabbed a tie. Call Freedom again. Those sitting down can’t reach out and take anyone’s tie. The winners are the last 2 or 3 left with their ties intact.
